Kenneth C. Ainsworth, 51, of Kilgore, Texas died Sunday July 20, 2008 in the Cherokee Regional Medical Center in Cherokee following an apparent heart attack.
Services in Kilgore, Texas were held Friday July 25, followed by burial on Saturday in the Mineral Springs Cemetery, Mineral Springs, Miss. Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee was in charge of local arrangements.
Kenneth was born on Aug. 10, 1956 in Taylorsville, Miss. to Curtis and Lola (Kilgore) Ainsworth. After attending college, he became a Journeyman electrician.
Kenneth was working as a fiber optic technician, doing work in the Cherokee area for Schoon Construction, and C-M-L Telephone when he suffered his fatal attack He loved to ride motorcycles, and also enjoyed high performance diesel trucks. Kenneth was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his father Curtis, and is survived by four sons, Joseph C. Ainsworth of Wylie, Texas; Kimble C. Ainsworth of Broken Bow, Okla.; James E. Ainsworth of Longview, Texas; Jeremy K. Ainsworth of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Lola Ainsworth of Gladewater, Texas; two brothers, Dan Ainsworth of Gladewater, Texas; Dave Ainsworth of Gladewater, Texas; one grand-daughter, Kaitlyn Ainsworth of Broken Bow, Okla.
