Come on home!

Monday, October 6, 2008

The Cherokee Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC) Legacy Foundation Committee is seeking contact information with any and all former Cherokee County residents.

Expressly, the CAEDC Legacy Foundation is seeking contact information from alumni from all present and former county schools, including Cherokee Washington High, Aurelia, Marcus, Cleghorn, Meriden, Meriden-Cleghorn, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn, Quimby, Washta, Willow, Larrabee, Cherokee Immaculate Conception, Cherokee Wilson High School, and the home schooled.

The committee wants to know how to get in touch with these alumni for a special mailing in the future that would include inviting these former residents to consider returning to live in Cherokee County.

A statement from the CAEDC Committee reads : If you have friends, relatives, or children who graduated or lived in Cherokee County, we would like to know how to get in touch with them. We are doing a special mailing and would like to invite these great folks back home. The contact information will be strictly confidential and not be shared with anyone but the CAEDC Legacy Foundation.

Those interested are asked to submit their mailing address, and/or e-mail address so they might receive this special mailing revealing all that Cherokee County has to offer.

For those with questions, contact the CAEDC at 712-225-5739.
