Hometown Guesthouse to host Grand Opening

MARCUS - Hometown Guesthouse announces the grand opening celebration for the new Hometown Guesthouse of Marcus.

In celebration of the start-up of the 16-room lodging property, Hometown Guesthouse will host a public Grand Opening event celebration and Open House on Sunday, October 19th, from 2 - 4 pm. The motel, located at 207 Eagle Ave., opened for business on July 21st.

The Board of Directors and Shareholders invite the community, surrounding areas, family, and friends to join the celebration and experience the area's newest lodging facility. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, guest room tours and prize drawings. In addition to hosting the Open House, a ribbon cutting celebration for Hometown Guesthouse by Marcus-For-Progress will be held at 2 pm. in the Hometown Guesthouse lobby area.

Hometown Guesthouse is proud to provide guests with a "home away from home," having "a guestroom without building onto your home" atmosphere. The new Hometown Guesthouse offers guests amenities with a unique décor, including a spacious lobby and breakfast area under a vaulted ceiling, specialty Whirlpool room, king single and queen double rooms, ADA room and 2 sets of adjoining rooms. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Business travelers can enjoy the free wireless internet access in addition to the spacious room and lobby accommodations.

Hometown Guesthouse is conveniently located on Highway 3, north of Marcus Junction, in the Marcus Business Development area. The $880,000 project kicked off with an Equity Drive the summer of 2007 and Groundbreaking was held on September 22, 2007. A total of 133 shareholders invested $351,500, with the balance being financed locally.
