HOLSTEIN - The 18-7, 14th-rated Galva-Holstein volleyball team handled Odebolt-Arthur 3-0 here on Oct. 9th, claiming game scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-15.

The Pirates were 66-73 hitting with 33 kills, and served 66-73 for 90 percent efficiency, and 13 aces. The winners tallied 76 team digs, and registered 29 team assists.

Lindsey Joslin led G-H in kills with 12, while Lanae Broesder led in assists with 29. Heidi Rollefson totaled four blocks to lead that category, and Lindsey Joslin had four ace serves to pace that department.

Ashley Buell totaled 24 digs to lead the Pirates in that category, and Heather Joslin managed 15.

"We served very well and kept O-A out of their offense," said a pleased Pirate coach Scott Mitchell. "I thought it was an excellent team effort all the way around."

The G-H girls are now 10-1 in the Western Valley Conference.
