The new pellet processing facility at the Cherokee Landfill (CLF) recently installed their new pellet manufacturing machine, designed to produce combustible pellets that will be used for fuel in area businesses.

The pellet-making machine was designed and built in Cherokee by Lundell Enterprises Inc. The processing facility should hopefully be up- and- running by the middle of December. Pictured above installing the new machine are, left to right, Don Pitts, Manager at the CLF. Mike Brooks, designer of the pellet manufacturing machine, and Mike Hanson. Photo by Mike Leckband
