GoogleShanahan requested the approval of an underwater permit for Afton Township in Section 18. The request was approved. Also, Shanahan discussed the conditions of some of the county roads and other General Business.
Earlier in the meeting, Mark Buschkamp, Director of the Cherokee Area Economic Development Corporation, addressed the Board and invited them to the groundbreaking ceremony that was held later that day at the Hy-Vee Distribution Center.
The Board entered in to a closed session with Shanahan to discuss employee evaluations as per Iowa Code 21.5(i).
There will be no Board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4 due to the General Election. The next Board meeting will be held on Wed, Nov. 12.
