The second annual "Hallelujah Night Party," held on Oct. 31 at

Faith In Christ Fellowship in Cherokee, was a big success, according to Pastor Pinky Person.

"Our purpose," said Pastor Person, "was to present an alternative to Halloween trick or treating," who said that this year's turnout was much larger than last year's initial party.

Pastor Person thanks all of those who donated candy, helped set up

and tear down, worked with the children, or transported their children to the party.

"God received the honor due Him," she concluded. " Look for us again next year."
