Gardens to host rummage sale

Monday, November 24, 2008

On Dec. 5, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Gardens, along with the Washington High School Student Council and National Honor Society, will be hosting a rummage sale. They would like to turn your unwanted clothing into someone else's treasure this holiday season.

From now until Dec. 3, there will be drop boxes at the high school office for donations of gently used or unwanted clothing, or can goods to be sold at the rummage sale. No large furniture or appliances.

You may also bring your items directly to The Gardens, but it is urged that you should bring clothing that is wearable, no rips or stains. The proceeds will be donated to help those in need at the Mid-Sioux Opportunity.

The groups challenge everyone to clean out their closets for a good cause and to gather together as a community this holiday season and to show how much this community cares.

For more information contact Amber Messerole at The Gardens at 225-2999.
