LeRoy Jenness of Cherokee has been re-appointed by the Commander in Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars to serve as National Deputy Chief of Staff for the second year in a row.

According to Allen Kent, Adjutant General, the appointment of Jenness was made because of his continued willingness to commit his time and efforts and outstanding services to Posts and his Department above and beyond the call of duty.

"I am sure you will fulfill this high office as National Deputy Chief of Staff with dignity and honor, both to yourself and the Veterans of Foreign Wars," Kent stated in his notification of the appointment. Photo by Mike Leckband
