At Remsen-Union, Brewer again led the RV scoring with 14 points and four steals, and Bauer added nine points and 10 rebounds. "It was a close game at halftime, but Remsen-Union capitalilzed on Wolverine turnovers to pull away in the second half," said RV coach Jenness.

Against Hinton, Brewer led the RV scorign with 14 points, and Ludvigson added seven. Hinton had four players in double figures - Britni Freed with 25, Abby Hageman 14, and Ashley Moody and Mallory Thoreson with 11 each. "We gave them too many easy baskets off of poor defense and too many turnovers," noted Jenness.

"We are off to a slow start, but that happens with young teams," added Jenness. "When you play as many freshmen as we do, yoou are going to have that. Seniors Charlee and Amber are steering the team in the right direction. We have a long way to go, but we will get there. These girls work hard and have good attitudes, and that is what it takes to get better."
