DES MOINES -House Republican Leader Kraig Paulsen (R-Hiawatha) has re-appointed Rep. Dan Huseman (R-Aurelia) as Ranking Member of the House Transportation, Infrastructure, and Capitals Appropriations Subcommittee.

"I'm pleased that Rep. Huseman will be once again representing Republicans on this committee. His previous work paired with his knowledge and insight on these issues make him an invaluable asset to Iowans," said Leader Paulsen. "With his leadership, hard work, and dedication, we're sure to move Iowa in the right direction."

Huseman, who is serving his eighth term, will also serve on the House Appropriations, Agriculture, Transportation and Natural Resources committees.

"I'm committed to working in a bipartisan manner to help enact positive changes for our state," said Rep. Huseman. "At the same time, I'm not afraid to call out wasteful or unnecessary spending, protecting the taxpayer is my number one priority."

The Iowa Legislature convenes Jan. 12 of next year.
