More conferences have all named their All-Conference volleyball selections recently, and several players from the local area are included among those named.

In the Lakes Conference, Cherokee's Kelsie Peterson, a senior, was selected as a First Team All-Conference member and sophomore Emily Cook was named to the Second Team.

Peterson has gleaned many volleyball honors this season in addition to her first team All-Lake Conference pick. She was Honorable Mention All-State, an alternate for the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union's Tournament Team, and was a member of the Iowa Tournament Team that played in Rochester, Minn. in November.

Seniors Alex Hoefling of Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn and Chelsie Rohrs of South O'Brien were named to the second team of the War Eagle All-Conference picks, and South O'Brien senior Katie Tesch received Honorable Mention.

In the Western Valley Conference, Galva-Holstein seniors Heather and Lindsey Joslin were both named to the North Division First Team All-Conference team, as was River Valley senior Charlee Brewer. Galva-Holstein senior Lanae Broesder and junior Ashley Buell were selected for the Second Team.

As noted in the Chronicle Times a few weeks ago, junior Ashley Anderson of Aurelia received Honorable Mention among the Northwest Conference All-Conference selections, the only Bulldog to receive mention.
