Reinert/Ferrier wedding

Sybil Kirsten Reinert of Cherokee and Matthew William Ferrier of Galesburg, Ill. were united in marriage on May 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Our Ladies Immaculate Church in Ankeny with Father Steve Orr officiating the ceremony.

The bride's father, Paul Reinert gave his daughter away in matrimony.

Sybil is the daughter of Paul and Kirsten Reinert of Cherokee. She is a 2002 graduate of Washington High School and a 200-7 graduate of Iowa State University with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and is currently employed at Allender-Batzke Engineers Inc. in Des Moines.

Matthew is the son of Bill and Pat Ferrier of Galesburg, Ill. He is a 1999 graduate of Galesburg High School and a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and is currently employed at Howard R. Green Company in Des Moines.

Serving the bride as the Maid of Honor was her sister Lyndsey Reinert of Minneapolis, Minn.

Bridesmaids included Jennifer Hartmann of Prior Lake, Minn., cousin of the bride, Wendy Ellison of Mankato, Minn., friend of the couple and Laura Kohn of Salt Lake City, Utah, friend of the couple. Personal attendant and guest book attendant was Angela McCarty, friend of the couple.

Serving the groom as Best Man was his brother, Mark Ferrier of Galesburg, Ill.

Groomsmen were Chris Logan of Indianapolis, Ind., friend of the groom, Travis Chapman of Harrisonville, Mo., friend of the couple and Charlie Wiemerslage of Hudson, Wis., friend of the couple.

Ushers were Michael Gordon of Loveland, Colo., cousin of the bride and Jeremy Clark of Ames, friend of the couple.

Hosts were the bride's uncle and aunt, Bill and Cheryl Gordon of Cherokee.

The couple went on a cruise to the Mediterranean on their Honeymoon and is currently living in Urbandale at this time.
