The River Valley boys won their 4th game in a row - and improved their record to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference - with a 72-62 home-court victory over Woodbury Central on Tuesday Jan. 20.

Zach Hullinger had a double-double night, with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Sam Lundt added 16 points, Austin Hansen 15, Ethan Todd 10, and Anthony Volkert nine, as the Wolverine boys again displayed great balance.

"I am really pleased with the way we are playing team basketball on both ends of the floor, with balanced scoring and good team defense," said Wolverine coach Dean Norris. "We are playing good basketball right now, and I hope it continues into tournament time."

Tuesday night was 'Senior Night' for seven seniors - Dylan Bogenrief, Sean Maday, Scott O'Connell, Ethan Todd, Anthony Volkert, Zach Hullinger, and Taylor Georgopolous, and Coach Norris left no doubt about his feelings for this senior class.

"Words cannot express what these kids have meant to the RV program, as they have put in huge hours in the gym, assisted with youth programs, and been an asset to not only the basketball program, but the River Valley community as well," said Norris.

"They will be truly missed, and I appreciate each one of their special contributions."
