River Valley girls fall to K-P Panthers

CORRECTIONVILLE - Visiting Kingsley-Pierson sneaked past River Valley's girls 62-54 in a competitive basketball game here last week.

Charlee Brewer led the host Wolverines with 16 points, while Emily Todd added 13, and Amber Bauer nine.

Rodd paced RV on the glass with seven rebounds, followed by Bauer with five, and Sarah Byers with four. Kari Ludvigson led Rver Valley with four assists.

Three Wolverines fouled out in the foul-plagued game, including Brewer, Ludvigson, and Todd, and Bauer had four fouls when the game ended.

River Valley made 22-49 field goals for 45 percent, and cashed in 14-24 free throws as more than 50 free throws were attempted in the game due to all the whistles.
