AURELIA - The Aurelia Bulldog girls finished off their regular season here on Feb. 10 with another tough opponent. Clay Central-Everly, ranked 15th in the latest IGHSAU poll with a 15-3 record, came to town and left with a 72-40 win over the young Aurelia squad.
Sophomore Meghan Glawe continued her outstanding season for Coach Tim Galvin's Bulldogs, pouring in 28 of her team's 40 points, and also hitting the glass for eight rebounds, the same number hauled in by junior Erin Laursen. Laursen also had four assists, three steals and blocked a shot. Sophomore point guard Audrey Winterhof dished out five assists, and fellow soph Shaina Thevenin had five points and three steals.
