Tuesday, March 10, 2009

The Iowa Basketball Coaches Association has named their annual Academic All State basketball teams for the 2008-2009 season. To be nominated, players had to meet the following set of minimum standards: a 25 ACT composite score, a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and rank in the top 25% of their senior class. After coaches nominated the players, a panel from the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Board of Directors met and selected 25 All-Staers from more than 100 qualified applicants.
