Cherokee Students go to Houston for NASA Competition

Once again this year, a group of students from Cherokee Washington High School have gone to Houston, Texas to compete in the Space Settlement Design competition sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Five Washington High School students and their teacher, Jolene Hultgren, headed for LeMars on March 5. From there, they planned to board a bus for Houston with students from several other Northwest Iowa schools.

The group will return to Cherokee on Monday March 9.
