The Northwest Conference has released the selections for the 2008-2009 Girls' Basketball All-Conference teams, and two Aurelia girls were among those named. Megan Glawe, a sophomore, was named to the All-Conference second team, and junior Erin Laursen received All-NWC honorable mention.

Conference champion Newell-Fonda (12-0), not surprisingly, led the selections, with three players named to the First Team, seniors Rachel Culp and Lauren Deveraux and junior Becky Seivert.

Conference runner-up Sioux Central (10-2) had two first team members, junior Brooke Scharn and sophomore Grace Rehnstrom, while Alta sophomore Jordan Henningson and Schaller-Crestland junior Chelsea Clayton rounded out the All-Conference first team.
