The Early Childhood Learning Center in Cherokee recently threw their annual Beach Party for their students, celebrating with water, sand, Beach Boy music, a limbo stick, and other games. A fun time was had by all!

How low can you go? The students at the Cherokee Early Childhood Learning Center took a day off from their normal activities recently to spend a day "at the beach." Not a real beach,of course, but rather one that was created in their classroom. The young learners spent time doing a variety of different activities, such as trying out the limbo. Gone fishing - One of the many activities in which the students at the Cherokee Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) participated during their recent beach party was seeing how many fish they could catch. Photo by Mike Leckband
Farming is a day at the beach - Many folks say that farming is no day at the beach but these students at the ECLC may beg to differ. While enjoying their class's beach party, students in Emily Shuberg's class had a chance to build a farm out of connecting blocks. Photo by Mike Leckband
