MERIDEN - A Spring Seminar With a Coffee, Tea, & Treat Bar, presented by Ladies' Night Out, will be held on Monday, March 23 at the Family Life Center of the Meriden Evangelical Free Church in Meriden.

The evening will begin with guest choice of regular and decaf teas and a sweet or healthy treat served from 6:10 until 6:40. The Seminar, "Sharing the Stories of Your Journey with God," will begin at 6:45. Booklets containing the seminar outline and for note-taking will be provided.

Shirley Peters, coordinator of the event says, "We suggest that our guests bring their favorite insulated mug and pen for an inspiring evening, digging deeper into creative and motivating ideas for sharing our lives with others."

Presenting the 90-minute seminar will be Loretta Sorensen of Yankton, SD. She will tell her own story and some other remarkable stories published in her magazine, Spirit of the Plains, whose mission is to be a visible means for God to demonstrate to His people what He is doing in their midst.

Loretta will then motivate the group with scripture and great ideas, showing how they too can share the many ways God has been at work in their lives. Loretta has been involved in writing and publishing for more than two decades and is generally published somewhere weekly.

The necessary reservations/cancellations will be accepted until Friday, March 20. Tickets ($10.00) will be paid at the door. Call Sue (376-4405) or Shirley (436-2637).
