COUNCIL BLLUFFS - There will be a definite Iowa flavor to the inaugural Iowa Western Community College football squad, with coach Scott Strohmeier reporting that 65 athletes from Iowa have committed to be a part of a 135-member squad that takes the field for Iowa Western's first football game Saturday, Sept. 5, against North Iowa Area Community College.

The Iowa players joining the first-ever Iowa Western Reivers football team include Keaton Tuttle, a 6-7, 305-pound offensive lineman from Cherokee; and Nick Anderson, a 5-11, 235-pound defensive end from Odebolt-Arthur/Battle Creek-Ida Grove.
