The Cherokee Music Boosters will be hosting its 13th annual "Tastes and Sounds" event on Thursday, April 2, from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center.
This event is a fundraiser for the Cherokee Washington High School and Cherokee Middle School instrumental and vocal programs.
It promises to be a lively evening, featuring on-going music provided by the music students, as well as food and beverages donated by 19 Cherokee businesses. While the music plays, those in attendance can sample food and beverages from a number of tables.
Tickets for this event are $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 4-10. There is no admission charge for children age three and under. Advance tickets are available for purchase from the instrumental and vocal students, and tickets will also be available at the door on the evening of the event.
