AURELIA - The Aurelia School Board met on Thursday afternoon for a special "workshop" session, in which several items of concern were discussed.
Nothing on the agenda was an action item, so there were no decisions made which would affect any school policies.
The general theme of the workshop was "Projecting the Future," and items discussed included financial matters, including future state funding; projected enrollment figures, where it was noted that projecting any further than two years
out was pretty much a thing of the past now; staffing needs; and sharing opportunities.
Curriculum and staffing information from both the Alta and Cherokee School Districts was distributed to Board members for their consideration.
The next regular Board session will be Monday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m.
