Nelson wins PF gun

Monday, March 30, 2009

The Cherokee Chapter of Pheasants Forever recently held their annual banquet at the Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center. The year marked a record-breaking crowd with over 500 in attendance. Pictured above Rich Cook (left) presents a gun given in memory of his father to Joe Nelson (center). The gun was won by Adam Nelson who is Joe's son. Cook gave a very touching memorial regarding his father and the late Tom Nelson, who is Joe's father. Adam Nelson's name was drawn at random for the gun.
