This year promises to be one of the best ever and they are focusing on Spring. They have a Garden Party this year with crafters from Central Iowa, Minnesota, Northwest Iowa and many local favorites among the 35 show-stopping vendors.
Come browse over 50 tables of products. Whether you are in need of metal garden sculptures, garden pottery, a quilt, handmade jewelry, or dog treats you will be able to find it here.
Signs of spring will be visible everywhere at the 11 a.m. show when Cherokee's own John Beier, owner of Rhoadside Blooming House, will be featured. You won't want to miss his excellent gardening secrets.
A tasty gourmet lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the coffee pot will be on all day. Don't forget to sign up for three door prizes to be given away throughout the day.
Proceeds from this years Spring Craft Show and Garden Party will go to a graduating Washington High School senior who is pursuing a technical degree. Past years have seen monies given to CAASA, Cherry House, student scholarships, Cherokee Library, Hospice and the Bacon Aquatic Center. Many times they have helped in a more personal way by taking on a family and helping meet their needs.
According to organizers, this is a very special event being held right in our own backyard. They invite the public to come to the party, do a little shopping, meet for lunch, gather some gardening secrets, and have a great day at the Spring Craft Show and Garden Party at WITCC.
