40th annual language day

Monday, April 6, 2009

On March 26, members of the Washington High School Spanish Club traveled to Wayne State College's 40th Annual Language Day. The theme was "Languages in the Comics," and students were offered a variety of activities throughout the day, from Spanish Scrabble, to a spelling bee, to mini-lessons in foreign languages. Prior to the trip, students could participate in creating Spanish comics, posters, skits and short films to be displayed or performed during the day.
