Army Reserve Unit hosts Yellow Ribbon event

The United States Army Reserve 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command hosted their first Yellow Ribbon Event with the 445th Transportation Company in Cherokee on April 4.

The 445th TC Company is due to deploy this summer, and the briefings were a portion of the preparation for that deployment for the soldiers and their families.

The 445th Transportation Company (Medium Truck)(Palletized Load System) is located in three locations: Waterloo, Sac City, and Cherokee, and the approximate 175 Soldiers from the 445th TC Company are currently scheduled to deploy some time this summer in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Other Yellow Ribbon events will be held in Sac City and Waterloo for the 445th TC Company.
