Masonic Scholarships to be awarded

Speculative Lodge #307 A.F.&A.M. of Cherokee and Marcus will be awarding $300 scholarships to a Cherokee senior and a Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn senior who will graduate this spring.

The scholarships may be used for a two or four-year college, or a vocational-technical school.

Applications for the scholarships may be obtained from the counselor's office in each of the schools. Applications must be post-marked by April 30, 2009.
