Runyan, Witcombe receive honors at Morningside

SIOUX CITY - Alicia Runyan, daughter of Norma Bush of Cleghorn, and Michele Witcombe, daughter of Michael and Debra Witcombe of Cherokee, were awarded honors at the annual Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Honors Assembly, held on Wednesday April 15 at Morningside Colege.

Runyan received the Outstanding Advertising Student Award from the Business Administration and Economics Department. She is a senior majoring in advertising and graphics art and is a 2005 graduate of Cherokee Washington High School.

Witcombe was initiated into ODK, a national leadership honor society, which recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character. She is a sophomore at Morningside majoring in elementary education and is a 2007 graduate of Cherokee Washington High School.
