In Monday's NWC Girls Meet at Fonda, the Bulldog girls finished sixth in team scoring, posting individual rounds of 55 by Amanda Swanson, 58 by Jennifer Jensen, 60 by Amanda Felten, and 65 by Kristun Tabler.
Alta won the team championship by a large margin, as they posted a team total of 190 strokes.
Aurelia's Cam Meyer was the meet medalist with a 40, and his teammate Nick Hirschman was runner-up medalist, also posting a score of 40. Jarrett Heubrock had a round of 46 for Aurelia.
At Tuesday's triangular, playing at home, the Aurelia boys came out on top, with a 172 team score. K-P shot a 175 and G-H 191.
In JV competition, K-P had a 197 team score and G-H a 264. Aurelia did not field a JV team.
Meyer was again the meet medalist with a round of 39. Heubrock shot a 41, Hirschman a 44 and Cody Glienke 48. Travis Otto also played for Aurelia, and posted a score of 57.
The Girls' triangular was played at Kingsley, and the team scores were G-H, 198; Aurelia, 210; and K-P, 234. Scores for the Aurelia team were: Jennifer Jensen, 49; Amanda Swanson, 50; Amanda Felten, 53; and Kristun Tabler, 58.
Thursday's Northwest Conference meet was the third conference meet of the season. The Girls' meet was played at the Lake Creek Club in Storm Lake, and the Aurelia girls placed second with their 218 team total, trailing only Alta, which posted a 206 team total. Individual scores for the Aurelia girls were Amanda Felten, 50; Amanda Swanson, 54; Jennifer Jensen, 56 and Kristun Tabler, 58.
The 3rd NWC Boys meet was also played on Thursday, and the Bulldog boys placed 4th, with a 192 team total. Newell-Fonda won the meet with a 175 team total, Alta was second, with 188, and Sioux Central placed third, shooting a 191. Nick Hirschman led Aurelia's effort with a round of 44, trailed by Cam Meyer, 46; Jarrett Heubrock, 50; and Cody Glienke, 52. Travis Otto also played, and posted a round of 57.
