Visiting Le Mars shut out the Cherokee Washington High girls 9-0 in Lakes Conference tennis action here Monday night.

In varsity singles for Cherokee, Demi Dunn lost 10-1 to Samm Rich at #1, Allie Parker lost 10-0 to Caitlin Bauerly at #2, Sydney Morton lost 10-1 to Natalie Miller at #3, Amanda Kohn lost 10-1 to Erica Westhoff at #4, Hillary Wilkie lost 10-2 to Molly Fischer at #5, and Aurora Buschkamp lost 10-1 to Haley Switalski at #6.

In varsity doubles, Dunn and Parker fell 10-3 to Bauerly and Westhoff at #1, Morton and Buschkamp fell 10-0 to Rich and Switalski at #2, and Kohn and Wilkie fell 10-0 to Miller and Fischer at #3.

Le Mars also claimed the JV match 8-1, with Emily Estala getting the lone WHS win at #5 singles.

IN JV singles for Cherokee, Sanna Miller lost 8-4 at #1, Kelsey Raper lost 8-1 at #2, Jackie Wilson lost 8-2 at #3, Denise Freed lost 8-3 at #4, Estala won 8-2 at #5, and Brianne Fowler lost 8-1 at #6.

In JV doubles, Raper and Jenae Lundell lost 8-1 at #1, Wilson and Shelby Bingham lost 8-3 at #2, and Jordan Miller and Nicole Kellen lost 8-3 at #3.

Cherokee plays at Storm Lake tonight and hosts Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji Monday night to end regular season.
