Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was third with 98 points, followed by Sibley-Ocheyedan 85, South O'Brien 47, Cherokee 40, Clay Central Everly 39, and Aurelia 5.
Lynn Carlson led Cherokee with a runner-up finish in the shot put with a heave of 37-6 1/4. Taylor Woods won third place for the Washington High gals with a 32-11 effort. Sarah Ruehle also won third for Cherokee with a 13.61 clocking in the 100 meters.
Cherokee's 4x100 relay of Ruehle, Sara Johnson, katie Sambrano-Keith., and Husman was fifth in 57.44; and the sprint medley relay was fifth in 2:09, with Sambrano-Keith, Katy Hart, Johnson, and Ruehle aboard.
"It was good to see the girls get some great performances in their events and they are finishing the season with some of their best times, throws, and jumps. It would be great to have everyone healthy and ready to go for the last two meets - the conference and then Districts on Friday.
Ashton Lansink paced South O'Brien's girls with a third-place finish in the 400 meters in 1:05, and Diana Quinonez was third in the 3000 meters in 12:32.
The Wolverines' 4x800 relay of Lansink, Patricia Zubrod, Ali Schimmer, and Heather Penning was third in 11:30; ands the SOS sprint medley relay of Quinonez, Katie Tesch, Miranda Kelleher, and Lansink was third in 2:04.
SOS fourths went to Tesch with a 17.3 time in the 100 hurdles; and the distance medley relay of Breanna VanBeek, Tesch, Kelleher, and Casie Rehder timed in 4:57. The 4x200 relay of Brooke Hibbing, VanBeek, Erin Brasser, and Silja Lorenzen was fifth in 2:03. Brasser was sixth in the long jump with a 14-1 effort.
