Fair Queen candidates sought

Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 Cherokee County Fair Queen Contest.

Girls must be between the ages of 16 (as of August 1, 2009) and 20. You do not need to be a 4-H member to enter the Queen Contest. All Cherokee County girls are eligible and encouraged to enter.

The crowning of the Fair Queen will be on stage Sunday evening, July 12, at the close of the Cherokee County Fair.
