The qualifiers have been rolling in for the 75th annual Cherokee Sioux Valley Amateur Match-Play Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, at the venerable Cherokee Golf & Country Club.

Cherokee native Jeff Campbell of Niles, Ohio is the defending Sioux Valley Amateur Champion, defeating 2008 qualifying Medalist Kent Schroeder of Mapleton in the final Championship match last year.

Schroeder has already qualified for this year's tournament, firing a sizzling 67 last week to take an early lead in the 2009 Medalist's race.
