Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26th, at 10 a.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee. Rev. Doug Corlew of Alta will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee. Priscilla was born in Cleghorn on September 17, 1932 to George & Harriet (Hazen) French. She graduated from Cleghorn High School. She was married to Lee E. Doupe on February 14, 1951 at Cleghorn, and made her home in Littleton, Colorado for many years before moving near her daughter in Council Bluffs 18 months ago. Priscilla worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the Faith Community Church in Littleton, Colorado, and belonged to the Red Hatters there. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and liked to share what she had cooked with othersm along with her friendship.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lee, on July 19, 2001; and a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Judy French.
She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Doupe of Council Bluffs; and two sons and their wives - Robert and Teri Doupe of Chillicothe, Mo. and John and Heidi Doupe of Littleton, Colo., along with four grandsons, Robert D. & Alyson Doupe of Stillwater, Okla.; Adam Doupe of Chillicothe, Mo.; Nathan & Stephanie Doupe of Chillicothe, Mo.; Aaron Doupe of Littleton, Colo.; four great- grandchildren - Codi, Dakota, Cheyanne and Summer; six sisters and brothers - Dorothy Doupe of Iowa Falls,Virginia & Rodney Brockman of St. Charles, Ill., Ann & Robert Rowland of Carroll, Tom & Linda French of Alta, Steve & Wanda French of Forsyth, Mo., and Becky & Lee Meyer of Alta, and many nieces and nephews.
