Oh, boy! Toys! The Cherokee Community Schools' recent Relay for Life fund-raising rummage sale had something for everyone. The toys, however, were an obvious attraction for astute shoppers Thomas Mowry and Alex Monroe.
On June 19 and 20, 2009, a bevy of bargain hunters stampeded their way to the Roosevelt gym for the Cherokee Community Schools' fund-raising super rummage sale. The proceeds from the sale, which featured everything from clothing and toys to books and home decor items, will be donated to the Relay for Life. In the photo below, the event's co-chairmen Tandra Naslund and Myla Stoneking and volunteer Amy Fowler are seen displaying several of the items featured at the sale.
