Completion of three new cabins at the new section of Martin's Access is one step closer. The Cherokee County Conservation Department has been continuously working on the cabins. Cherokee County Conservation Director, Ginger Walker invites the public to put on their thinking caps. She will soon be holding a naming contest for the three structures. "We just don't want to call them cabins number 1, 2 and 3" said Walker. "I think it would be more interesting if people became involved." The naming contest will probably happen when the three cabins are complete. Walker hopes that all the construction will be finished by the end of August and the cabins will be ready to rent in September. Photos by Mike Leckband
