The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors met briefly at the Cherokee County Courthouse on Tuesday.

The only item on the Board's agenda was the approval of a hog confinement expansion permit for Swine 59 LLC owned by Dennis Holtrop of Silver Township. Motion of approval was made by Terry Graybill and seconded by Dean Schmidt with Larry Prunty, Mark Leeds and Chairman Jeff Simonsen voting with 'aye' to approve the permit.

There being no further business the Board adjourned the session and headed to Koser Spring Lake Park for their annual appreciation picnic for county employees.

The Board's next meeting will be 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14 at the lower level of the Cherokee Courthouse.
