Cherokee Farmers Market

Monday, July 13, 2009

(Photo)
Despite the imminent threat of a severe thunderstorm, the Cherokee Farmers Market held an impromptu gathering on Thursday (July 9th) beneath the convenient canopy of the Historic Cherokee Railroad Depot. Normally, the Farmers Market is held on the lawn next to the historical landmark, but Thursday's storm forced the popular market to be held for the first time ever under the large canopy, which provided shelter from the storm for the many customers who come to this weekly event.
