AURELIA - That a member of the Lockin family shot a hole-in-one at the Aurelia Golf Course on Thursday, July 23 shouldn't come as a surprise. They are, after all, "The First Family of Golf" in Aurelia.

The family member who scored an ace that night might surprise you, though. The linkster in question was 12-year-old Erica Lockin, the daughter of Brian and Keisha Lockin of Aurelia.

Erica's ace on the 140-yard 7th hole was witnessed by several people, including her mom and dad, her 5-year-old sister Shea, and recently-graduated Bulldog golfers Camrin Meyer and Jarett Heubrock.

Proud Papa Brian said his daughter matched his career hole-in-one total at 6:50 p.m., using a #5 Hybrid metal wood, and playing a "very dirty" Bridgestone 3 golf ball.
