Koch, Lehnhoff to play in All Star Series

Two stellar Cherokee County school seniors have been selected by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association to play in the IHSBCA All-Star Series next weekend at Carroll Stadium in Carroll. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn pitcher Jacob Lehnhoff and Cherokee shortstop/pitcher Matt Koch will be playing for the Small Schools West squad. Cherokee coach Scott Koch will also be serving on the coaching staff.

Small Schools West Squad:

Pitchers: Jake McGruder - St. Albert Council Bluffs, Stu Goslinga - Sioux Central, Jacob Lehnhoff - Marcus -Meriden -Cleghorn, Tyler Tiffany - Ogden.
