The cost is $45 per player, and that includes 18 holes of golf, a buffet meal, and "lots of fun."
For $100, golfers can sponsor a sign and be part of the "Friends of the Braves" sign display. Golfers who cannot participate but would still like to make a donation to the Athletic Boosters may certainly do so, and anyone who would like to donate a prize for the event is ceratinly welcome to do so as well.
The schedule for the day on August 23 begins with a "Shotgun" start at 12 noon, and a great buffet-style meal, served by the Hy-Vee deli, follows the golf. Sponsors will be recognized at the meal, and prizes will also be awarded. The coaching staffs of the Washington High School athletic teams will also be present to provide brief overviews of their programs.
