Mayer receives P.E.O. Educational Loan

MARCUS - P.E. O. Chapter of Marcus announces that Molly Mayer of rural Marcus has been approved to receive a $4,500 Educational Loan from the Iowa State Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Molly is the daughter of Bill and Deb Mayer. The funds will help Molly complete her studies at Iowa State University. She is a senior pursuing a major in Food Science, with a minor in Food Safety.

P.E.O. is a Philanthropic Educational Organization where women celebrate the advancement of women, educate women through scholarships, grant awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College, and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.

P.E.O. supports five programs. These are scholarship, grant, loan, and award programs, and Cottey College, a two-year women's college owned by the organization.

P.E.O. Chapter FM of Marcus continues to support local women in the community to achieve their educational goals.
