Local engraver Duane Diamond is shown on Tuesday working at the Cherokee Bacon Aquatic Center to complete 16 additional bricks engraved in the donor wall there.

Each brick represents a pledge of at least $1,000 to the Gillette Park project, and more bricks remain to be engraved. Anyone interested in a brick to be engraved may pick up informational materials either at the donor wall or at City Hall. Photo contributed.
