Martin - Lane Wedding

Leah Marie Martin and Jonathan Colbert Lane were united in marriage on the evening of May 30, 2009, in the Danforth Chapel on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, Kansas. Chris Vidiksis, friend of the bride, served as the officiant for the ceremony, and the bride was given in marriage by her father and stepfather, Robin Martin and Mark Cozine.

The bride wore an ivory, hand beaded and embroidered silk organza strapless trumpet gown, with a scalloped neckline and chapel train by Lazaro. She also wore a feathered headpiece with a cage veil. The groom and groomsmen wore dark brown Calvin Klein tuxedos with gold brocade vests and gold ties. The Matron of Honor was the bride's sister, Katy Martin, and her attendants were her sister Hannah and a friend, Isley Unruh. Best Man was Stephen Lane, the groom's brother, and two friends of the groom, David Hochstetter and Jeromy Coffman, served as groomsmen. The bride's brothers, Jerad and Joshua Cozine and Nolan Martin, served as ushers. Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance were held at the historic Eldridge Hotel.

Jonathan is the son of Christine Colbert of Kansas City, Missouri and Steve and Chris Lane of Lawrence, Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas majoring in Strategic Communications, and is currently employed as the Drum Manager at Guitar Center on Manhattan Island in New York City. Leah is the daughter of Robin and Patrice Martin and Mark and Deb Cozine, all of Cherokee. She is a graduate of Washington High School and the University of Kansas, where she earned a Bachelors degree in mathematics, and is currently attending Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York.
