Want to digitize your VHS tapes?

The Roxio Easy VHS -to- DVD (left)can be hooked between your VHS Recorder (or camcorder)and laptop or desktop computer to allow transfer of analog video to digital, then the digital file can be burned to a DVD if you choose to do so.
It has been brought to my attention lately that several local citizens were recently talking about the large number of family videotapes they had, and bemoaning the fact that there didn't seem to be a way to put these fading, crackling memories onto a DVD.

Fear not. I recently purchased a little gizmo which connects my VHS recorder to a USB port on my computer, and I have been able to make DVDs from these old home movies.

First check with your local electronics retailer to see what they might offer, but if you have no luck there, go to www.roxio.com and look for the Easy VHS-to-DVD. The cost is $79.95, and it is available for both Macs and PCS.
