Nashville musician Jimmie Allen will be doing an in-studio performance and interview with Billy Bezoni on KCHE 92.1 FM in Cherokee on Tuesday December 8th, starting at noon.

Jimmie will be performing a few songs off his upcoming album and will also answer any questions from staff members as well as from local listeners who call in. The station is currently spinning Jimmie's single "Comet," released in early October of this year. The song has been gaining the attention of many listeners throughout the United States, and is rapidly climbing the top 40 chart. In just one week , the single jumped 45 spots within the mediabase Top 40 indicator chart, all without the support of a record label.

Glad to see my hometown is supporting new artists personally. Wish I could hear your broadcast, but WI might as well be on another continent. I read the Times faithfully and enjoy keeping up with the activities and seeing the changes in my home town.
