Parade float winners named

1st place in non- profit - The Cherokee Regional Medical Center took 1st place in the Cherokee Chamber's Wonderful World of Christmas Parade in the non-profit category. Pictured are Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Director, Julie Hering Kent and Denny Taylor of the CRMC
Julie Hering-Kent, the Director of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, announced the winners of the float competition at the December 3 Wonderful World of Christmas Parade at the Chamber of Commerce coffee, held the next morning at Careage Hills Nursing Facility.

3rd place in non-profit - Ethan Sayler of the Cherokee Memorial Presbyterian Church is pictured receiving the 3rd place award for the non-profit category by Cherokee Chamber Director Julie Hering Kent for the church's entire in the Wonderful World of Christmas Parade.
There were two categories of floats - those by Non-Profit organizations and those by the "For Profit," that is, the Cherokee businesses.
