'Bee Hive' next CCT production

The musical "Bee Hive," featuring 1960s-style music, will be the opening production of the Cherokee Community Theater's 51st year.

Amy Sarchet will serve as the Musical Director and Holly Ohlson as the Technical Director for this lighthearted romp, which features the singing "Girl Group" of Sarchet, Ohlson, Cheryl Ellis, Lisa Hunter, Heidi Church and Janet Brown, and their back-up band, made up of local musicians Jimmy Davis, Steve Thomas, Brad Dirks, and Tim Anderson.

"Bee Hive" will be presented this Thursday and Friday, Dec.10-11 and next Friday and Saturday, Dec. 18-19, at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee performance this Sunday, Dec. 13.
